– Nurturing & Wellbeing Activities for Young People Aged 12-16
For use at home and in school by parents, carers, teachers and others involved with supporting the wellbeing of adolescents and teenagers, with much-needed practical guidance and ideas to help with the emotional recovery following times of change, loss, fear and uncertainty.
Contains evidence-based strategies to build good mental health and develop the resilience needed to recover and move forward with hope following challenging times.
The activities are grouped into six sections to provide a holistic, trauma-informed approach to recovery that can be tailored to meet the needs of all young people. These are:

- Resilience-Building
- Self-Esteem & Social Skills
- Effective Thinking
- Anxiety-Busting
- Transition
Practical resources include helpful websites, ideas for Whole-School Recovery including a template for a Recovery Plan, tips for using Mindfulness, Circle of Friends approaches and Emotion Coaching.
