TOOLS TO THRIVE (T2T):
SAMPLE WELL-BEING SKILLS’ LESSON PLANS FOR SENIOR CYCLE TEACHERS

This ‘taster’ page has been designed to give secondary school teachers a chance to trial this new Positive Psychology programme called Tools to Thrive (T2T). Here you will find all the components, physical and digital, to deliver one well-being skills’ lesson from each of the two levels – fifth & sixth year (Ages: 15-17+).

Each of the two levels of this programme consists of a Teacher Resource Book containing eight, easy-to-deliver lessons on well-being skills. A comprehensive Digital Companion Page (DCP) accompanies the teacher book (password from book required) which contains a PowerPoint presentation for each skill as well as a wealth of support materials including supplementary worksheets, videos, activities, posters and other activities, all related to the skill/lesson being taught. Each level also has a Pupil Reflective Journal which comes with an open Digital Companion Page (no password required) for Book A & Book B.

Below you can see what each of the two levels cover. The highlighted skill under each book cover is the skill that is available for free. Choose a year programmme, click on the highlighted skill or scroll down to see all the available skills.
