Effective ways of working with children who struggle to read, write and spell
There are three books in the Dyslexia Matters series. Taken together, these offer a rich and important foundation constructed of phonemes, phonologic awareness and general phonics knowledge – in a nutshell, they cover all the basic sounds for spelling and reading a child needs. The books can be used to teach all children language patterns for reading and spelling, but they also include the knowledge and how to teach it that is best practice for those with dyslexia.
