Caolán McCarthy works in The Children’s Clinic as both a Speech and Language Therapist and autistic individual, who graduated with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy from UCC in 2020. He has been a guest lecturer in Cork College of Commerce and a neurodiversity consultant in the redesign of Temple Street Hospital’s MRI Department’s overhaul. Caolán has also worked in both a consulting and lecturing capacity as part of the Autism module of the revised National Framework for SNA Training, conducted through UCD and in collaboration with the NCSE.
