Description

– Helping Students to Get to Grips with Writing

The Writing Frameworks series has been designed to assist teachers in their teaching of writing. In two photocopiable books, Writing Frameworks provides easy-to-use prewriting strategies, guides and model writing exemplars across seven writing genres.

Each section contains ideas for prewriting, drafting and writing the final text. Ideas for assessment are also included. After the teacher has worked on prewriting strategies, the frameworks provide a structure for students to follow in their composing and drafting of texts. These structures will help them to develop confidence and lead them towards independence as writers. The resource can be used with a range of ages and ability levels.
