This new poetry-based ESL resource kit from User Friendly Resources has been developed specifically for students with non-English-speaking backgrounds, but may also be used with students with language difficulties. It uses 15 original and diverse poems as the basis for a wide range of comprehension-based language activities, which are based around both reading the material and listening to it from the accompanying audio CD.
Each poem constitutes a separate unit of work and is accompanied by ideas on building a lesson around the text, suggested learning outcomes, and evaluation charts.
