This lively two book series has been designed to enhance thinking and vocabulary skills in Years 5-6 students.
Book A: Think Sheets contains five kinds of thinking problems on each sheet – word study, research, philosophical, make and create, and creative thinking. Students can work as individuals or pairs on these.
Book B: Word Sheets is divided into two sections – word play and word puzzles. The sheets have fun activities in the following areas: anagrams; palindromes; mnemonics; acronyms; alliteration; vowels; pangrams; lipograms; riddles; word builders; word squares; word searches; and much more. Both sections focus on extending students’ vocabulary and arousing an interest in the formation and use of words. These sheets are ideal for language and enrichment.
