Chapters in Part II provide details of interventions that have a sound theoretical rationale and evidence-base related to vocabulary, grammar, narrative skills, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and social communication skills.
Chapters in Part III discuss ways that schools can support adolescents with language disorders through collaboration with speech and language therapists.
With contributions from an international team of researchers and clinicians, the book will enable readers to better support adolescents with language disorders and consider how interventions can be designed to increase language abilities and maximize inclusion within education and beyond.
