Maths Together

Mulberry Publications was started in the mid ninties by Florence and Michael Gavin, when Florence, a primary school teacher in Drogheda, wrote a series of books called Maths Together. It covered the full primary maths curriculum in Ireland and received very positive response from teachers and others in the education field.

Following the success of Maths Together other needs were identified and Florence wrote more maths series that catered for these specific needs. MathsZone248For example, the Maths Zone series was written to help the child facing greater challenges with maths. It focuses on core competencies necessary to cope with maths in everyday situations. Over the years Florence wrote more books and series that were added to the range published by Mulberry Publications. She also updated and improved the books following feedback.

Florence spent thirty years in the classroom before becoming a Maths Presenter with the Primary Curriculum Support Programme - now the PDST. She also lectured and gave seminars on the teaching of maths. She is a former Chairperson of the Irish Learning Support Association (ILSA) and is now retired.

Outside the Box Learning Resources was appointed as exclusive worldwide distributor of Mulberry Publications on 1st July 2017.
