LGBT+ / LGBTQ+

LGBT+ or LGBTQ+ is an adjective pertaining collectively to people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender and to people with gender expressions outside traditional norms, including nonbinary, intersex and other queer people (and those questioning their gender identity or sexual orientation), along with their allies.

This page is dedicated to supporting educators to promote equality and inclusivity in schools for the LGBT+ or LGBTQ+ community.

The page consists of useful websites and blogs as well as resources from various publishers around the world.

Every year, during the month of June, the LGBT community celebrates in a number of different ways. Across the globe, various events are held during this special month as a way of recognising the influence LGBT people have had around the world.
